- The hiring rate for this position is $202,600 BLR - $292,600.00 BLR per year._
- The actual pay may vary based on several factors, including professional experience, hiring location, skills, and competencies._

**Summary**:
The Country Manager position will direct, manage, and provide guidance to staff; proactively seek out ways to improve and streamline operations; develop, implement and ensure compliance with corporate policies; actively participate in business development activities and present insightful analyses with recommendations to senior management as needed. The Country Manager directs the operations, sales, and customer service for a country of the organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinated supervisors.

**Supervisory** **Responsibilities**:

- Manages one or more subordinate supervisor(s) who supervise a total of two or more employees in Sales and Operations and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the branch. As a member of the management team, this position is responsible for establishing and maintaining a work environment focused on quality and that fosters learning, respect, open communication, collaboration, integration, and teamwork.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Full P&L management, including recommendation of budget to Sr. Management
- Coordinates operations, sales, and customer service in accordance with policies, principles, and procedures established by corporate headquarters.
- Consult with customers and vendors to evaluate and promote improved and expanded services in all areas impacting customer service.
- Develops plans for efficient use of materials, employees, and equipment where applicable.
- Reviews cost, service quality and modifies operations programs to maintain and enhance profitable of operations.
- Evaluates operations of competing organizations, plans, and directs sales program with Sales and Marketing to develop new markets.
- Coordinate proper and timely input of values in corporate system to be paid to suppliers and invoiced to customers.
- Following regulatory guidelines received from Finance and Accounting, allowing finance department to invoice customers and pay suppliers properly and accounting department to fulfill required obligations.
- Analyze the financial needs of the business and recommends budgets to management.
- Negotiate with airline partners and ocean carriers with respect to rate and space allocation issues.
- Represent Company at business and customer functions when required.
- Ensures regulatory compliance in accordance with industry standards.
- Ensure effective management of the operations teams.
- Interface with vendors to help drive cost efficiencies and service excellence
- Develop, Implement and Maintain ‘Smart-goals’ for all staff members - collaborate with regional / global management team to ensure appropriate top down and bottom-up alignment
- Direct client interface in operational support of business development team
- Manage and measure all regional KPI metrics
- Work closely and communicate with country government agencies regarding queries and regulation requirements.

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent work experience
- 7- 10 years’ experience in Distribution and logistics in progressively responsible roles in high-growth, multi-national companies that have reached at least $100m in annual revenue
