- We are looking for Family & Estate and Property Law Assistant._

**Responsibilities**:

- _Wills & Estates: Draft and execute Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney, and Enduring Guardianships; manage probate and estate administration; handle financial management orders and NCAT hearings; assist with contested wills and family provision claims._
- _Property Law: Oversee property settlement processes; draft contracts; manage conveyancing documentation; liaise with real estate agents and banks._
- _Staff Training & Invoicing: Train paralegals, review legal documents, draft cost agreements, manage invoicing and client queries, and handle trust accounting._
- _Conveyancing - Drafting Contract for Sale & Purchase Agreements._
- _Attend to Search relevant certificates in relation to sale/purchase of property._
- _Liaise with real estate agents and banks._
- _Preparation of settlement balance sheet on Pexa._
- _Legal research to assist prosecutors._
- _Draft summons, evidence matrix, agreed facts and witness statements._
- _Compile and file court documents at the criminal and civil registry._
- _Observe court proceedings and making file notes for state counsels._
- _Assist with trial preparation by preparing the exhibit list, the list of witnesses._
- _Prepare exhibit folders for court and compiling disclosure documents._
- _Printing, Scanning, Photocopying and Faxing documents._

Skills Required:
**_Education and Qualifications:_**
- _Law Degree preferred in common law - completed overseas or australia_
- _At least 2 years of work experience in the areas of family, estate, and property law or in legal practice_
- _Experience with legal software_

**_Strong communication skills_**_: Both written and verbal, to interact effectively with clients, lawyers, and other stakeholders._
- _**_Legal research skills_**_: Ability to research legal precedents, legislation, and case law._
