**What You'll Do**

**In this role, you will**
- Execute outstanding effects for our games by bringing dramatic effects to life
- Create all art needed for the visual effects, including FX concept, proto, and final FX
- Supply creative solutions given a set of technical constraints
- Provide technical solutions that have a broader impact across the group
- Working on Epic's cinematic team to design various real-time FX in Unreal Engine for use in cinematic shots

**What we're looking for**
- Good understanding of Unreal Engine or at least a passion for learning Unreal and Niagara
- An understanding of how to adapt/upgrade/translate game FX into their cinematic or movie version by identifying and retaining key shapes and concepts while plussing the fidelity
- Strong Houdini knowledge (running fluid simulations, proceduralism, mesh generation)
- An interest in and understanding of scripting/programming
- A good understanding/experience in proceduralism, including shaders
- A critical eye for the timing, animation, and motion of real-world objects and visual FX with an ability to bring dramatic FX to life with flair
