Dow has an opportunity for a **Packing & Specialty Plastic Sustainability Manager -Brazil**

located in **São Paulo, São Paulo (Brazil)**, responsible to Drive regional, country sustainability strategy, build and create pipeline, responsible for implementation and results across large geographies, markets with a complexity of projects; ownership of key external relationships with partners to achieve Dow's objectives.

**Responsibilities / Duties**:

- Develop, implement and execute sub-regional sustainability strategy that align with the business plan and global/regional sustainability strategy
- Drive the completion of projects to Stop the Waste, Close the Loop, Protect the Climate and Safer Materials
- Work closely with commercial recycling and marketing team to develop and implement new solutions and business models to close the loop
- Serve as a focal point of the Business in trade associations and influence industry peers to align with Dow’s priorities to grow the (plastics, PU, Silicone, etc.) industry
- Collaborate with Geo and PA/GA team to influence government policy and communication strategy to protect bottom line and help broaden acceptance and implementation of sustainability projects.
- Educate Dow employees - especially employees within the business and Geo team members, top customers, leading brand owners, and other key industry partners on sustainability matters (ie. including the value of plastic packaging, end-of-life options for used packaging, carbon footprints, etc...)
- Author papers and give presentations at key industry events, in industry trade journals, and customer meetings and through one-on-one interaction with packaging converters, brand owners, and other value chain partners to assure that everyone understands the value and sustainability.

**Required qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Fluent English in verbal and written communications
- Native Portuguese.
- Strong Previous Experience working with Marketing & Sales Packing & Plastic Business.
- Previous experience working with sustainability themes ( Circular Economy, Recycle, Waste Management).
