Lead HR Manager I

Supports Senior People Managers to deliver coaching, support and advice to enhance the colleague experience; typically provides services to People Managers in fewer than five countries. They will usually be supported by a People Partner or other senior HR leader in country who will take the lead as the senior HR Representative in country.
- Leads implementations across their team and ensures that any local market or business nuances are appropriately considered and action taken whilst respecting the value of enterprise-wide alignment where appropriate.
- Identifies and leads implementation of changes which will improve experiences for colleagues and/or People Managers, using metrics and analytics to inform solutions and priorities for change.
- Works in proactive partnership with People Services, COEs and People Partners to ensure that local country and business needs are considered as part of development of global policy, process, communications and programs designed to benefit People Managers
- Consults with People Partners to understand business perceptions locally and to determine best practice, continuously improving delivery methods, taking into account regional or country-specific nuances to guide the effective delivery of local initiatives
- Understands plans for business organizational change across own group of countries, ensuring robust and thorough planning takes place and that changes are implemented effectively. Where necessary, this will include taking a leading role in complex consultations with local works councils or statutory bodies to support the HR Managers locally; Serves as an escalation point for People Managers in HR related manners in a given location/region
- Guides employee engagement and culture across the assigned group of countries identifying where additional action may be required and raising for discussion within People Service and/or with People Partners and CoEs
- May participate in necessary HR Risk & Compliance actions and HR and business governance committees as required based on agenda topics and in-country relevance
- May lead a team of four (or less) HR Managers, delivering good practice people management for own team which includes but not limited to: objective setting, performance management, coaching, development, support for wellbeing and taking action to maximize employee engagement.
- Manages work distribution across the team of HR Managers, collaborating with other Lead HR Managers in region to ensure that work is appropriately balanced; Oversees work delivered by HR Managers across the full range of activities in the HR portfolio.
