**About the Team**

Our Operations teams work for executional excellence. The goal is not only to deliver on our plan and OKR targets but also to work under the hood on building a world-class Ops machine to provide the best customer experience and generate a long-term source of competitive advantage.

We are the local eyes on Uber’s Operations Team, we own operational metrics related to the restaurant's performance, becoming the bridge between the business strategy in terms of having a flawless operation between restaurants, eaters, and couriers with the different lines of business and internal teams.

We ensure complex, business-critical compliance work is done in a high-quality way, we are looking for individuals who are passionate about what they do and ready to roll up their sleeves to grow their market.

**About the Role**

This role will lead, generate and implement short/mid-term initiatives as well as strategic projects that aim for a flawless operation, fostering the best experience in our platform for restaurants, couriers, and eaters. You will understand and size the opportunities in our current products and processes, working together with central and cross-functional teams to lead on implementation.

Monitoring constantly the market performance and operational metrics that will allow you to identify and unlock existing roadblocks that are negatively impacting the market, you will work closely with our core territories teams to enable growth and boost business impact.

We are looking for an individual who has strong operational and analytical skills, as well as strategic business sense and stakeholder management.

This is a key position that can have a big impact on business and operations, positioning the UberEats app as the first thought when people want to order food or groceries. We have a lot of exciting projects going on, and the sky's the limit.

**What You’ll Do**
- Strategic Ownership: Proactively identify business needs and issues. Prioritize among projects to define the best path to meet strategic objectives and execute against it
- Problem Solving: Identify the root cause of risks and opportunities, propose multiple, actionable solutions, and weigh tradeoffs to recommend the best approach
- Process Optimization: Execute, optimize, and scale core analyses and processes across Central American region and beyond, regularly reviewing performance
- Product Improvement: Propose features or improvements that could enhance the experience on and efficiency of our marketplace, measuring their impact and prioritizing them, in order to advocate for their development. Collaborate with Product teams around the world to execute new launches in Central American region.
- Stakeholder Management: Lead cross-functional initiatives by building close relationships with global and local partners across operations, marketing, customer support, product, policy, and legal

**What You’ll Need**
- English and Spanish professional proficiency
- Years of Experience/Industries: 3+ years of professional experience.
- Data-Driven Mentality: Make strategic decisions based on data analysis and interpretation. Experience getting in the weeds of data, balanced with the ability to see the big picture. Critical thinking and analytical rigor, as you will be dealing with data (reports, experiments) and scaling processes and products.
- Communication: Spanish and English proficiency. Demonstrated experience interpreting and presenting data to various audiences in an engaging and comprehensive, yet succinct manner
- Teamwork: Demonstrate optimism, respect others, and work well in a team. Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and responsibilities. Maintains healthy working relationships, even in disagreement
- Executional Excellence: Ability to optimally manage and prioritize complex operations that require the support of peers and other teams, and deliver results in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, while maintaining high-quality work standards
