**Job Purpose**

Reporting to our Regional Marketing Director, you will build in-depth market and consumer understanding for assigned product categories. Create, deliver and support client presentations.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Market and Consumer Understanding_
- Build in-depth market and consumer understanding for assigned product categories
- Foster sharing amongst marketing team members across categories and across regions
- Marketing programs and development_
- Identify client brand 'white space' and brainstorm new concept directions including creation of concept:writing, visuals-collaborating with creative team for synergies with olfactive recommendations
- Prepare standard category reviews and trend presentations
- Create client presentations, tailoring Givaudan value proposition to specific needs of the client
- Work with Sales and Evaluation to establish appropriate olfactory direction to win briefs
- Help design marketing programs to address client needs

**Academic Background**
- University Degree/Business/Marketing (or equivalent)

**Professional experience**
- At least 5 years of experience in industry, in marketing or related field, in both agency and client sides.

**Technical Skills**
- Customer/Client Relationship Skills_
- Build and maintain relationships with clients
- Understand client strategy, programs, priorities and launch processes
- Givaudan Systems and Tools_
- Understand, and utilizes information from Givaudan systems (Miriad, IBIS, Fragranceland etc)
- Industry, Market and Consumer Knowledge_
- Demonstrate knowledge of fragrance products, trends, key customers, and competitors on a global/regional category level
- Strong to strengthen consumer awareness and understanding
- Marketing Skills_
- Understanding of B2B and B2C marketing principles
- Experience with all Givaudan*s marketing and promotional programs; can apply/communicate them
- Demonstrate knowledge of Givaudan's Branding guidelines
- Sensory and Olfactory Skills_
- Demonstrate competent olfactory skills, olfactory notes and communicate in fragrance language
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations
- Project Management_
- Effectively manage priorities and projects under time/budget constraints
