**Head of Latam Structuring, MD**
The Latam Structuring team originates and structures bespoke investment, hedging and financing solutions across a spectrum of different client bases, ranging from institutional accounts to sponsors and corporations. The team is responsible for driving the agenda and providing a center of expertise for structuring and solutions opportunities in Latam related to Global Markets products. The team partners with institutional and corporate sales teams and trading desks globally to offer best-in-class product knowledge and deal execution.
**Main responsibilities**:
Lead product and trade idea generation and innovation. Design, price, structure, and market transactions for institutional and corporate clients in Latam.
Help define client strategy and work to increase penetration of solutions business with Latam client base. This would include attendance to client meetings with sales to help originate opportunities and design tailor made solutions that add value to clients.
Lead new product approval process, working collaboratively with key sales and trading partners as well as various functions.
Demonstrate team leadership including recruiting, training and development.
**Position Requirements**:
Experience in Latam structuring
Strong understanding of markets & financial products across macro and credit asset classes
Strong understanding of local regulatory framework, clients and solutions landscape
Prior experience leading staff and building teams
Strong communication skills, work ethic, attention to detail and team-oriented mentality
Fluency in Portuguese and English
