We're looking for an experienced **Senior Technical Project Manager** to join our Operations Solution Delivery team to manage technical integration with carrier billing and local payment methods partners. This is not only a highly externally focused role, but also one that is pivotal to internal teams serving as the payment solution expert for the markets covered. The Senior Technical Project Manager owns the technical and operational relationship with carrier partners and local payments providers and leads the technical scoping and integration of their payment solutions into Boku Payments platform. You will work with these external partners to assess their technical capabilities for a host of Boku products and manage the technical integration projects with limited resources and tight timelines. You will collaborate closely with Business Development, Product Management, Engineering, Program Management, and Support Operations in the process.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Lead technical discussion with Payments partners to conduct gap analysis and drive solution design based on business and technical requirements
- Manage integration projects through its complete lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, launch, post-launch support, and end-of-life support, with quality and efficiency
- Lead project planning effort in defining project scope, plan, tasks and schedules required for integration
- Manage timely communication of project status, issues, risks and changes with internal teams and external partners
- Effectively address project requirement changes and delivery expectation while reducing scope creep
- Provide regular project status updates and action items list while working to remove blockers and keep project on track
- Troubleshoot technical issues by reviewing API logs and other diagnostic tools with/without Engineering team's assistance, and analyze the performance of integrated solutions
- Drive technical issues to resolution with urgency while serving as the point of contact for escalated issues from Support Operations
- Handle multiple projects and issues simultaneously, as well as difficult situations, effectively and with composure while maintaining a positive attitude
- Maintain professional and jovial relationships with partners and customers
- Is not afraid to lead and negotiate whenever needed
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
- You have 8-15 years of work experience in technical project management at a mobile, payments or fintech company
- You have proven track record in delivering payments integration projects throughout its lifecycle
- You are a strong and effective project leader who is comfortable managing ambiguity and changing deadlines while keeping focused on delivering results
- You have excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
- You are skilled in building and maintaining collaborative relationships with partners
- You have solid technical understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
- You have practical experience with REST and JSON and have a good understanding of API architecture
- You can statistically analyze data to identify problems and trends
- You have strong problem-solving skills and a strong bias for action
- You thrive in a fast-paced, often ambiguous, and rapidly changing environment
- You have a drive to improve processes and ability to identify inefficiencies
