**About the Role**:
**Please, note that this is a fixed term contract.**

**Major Responsibilities**
- Design tax determination rules and functionalities for indirect tax engines
- Collaborate with global and local tax experts to align solutions with business needs
- Ensure design decisions meet Novartis standards for performance, quality, and security
- Coordinate with project leads to deliver work on time, within scope and budget
- Create and maintain documentation, training, and educational materials for tax processes

**Essential Requirements**
- University degree in a relevant field
- Experience in indirect tax, financial accounting, and tax operations in multinational companies
- Project management training or certification is desirable
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with SAP and tax determination engines preferred
- Proven ability to collaborate across functions and drive integrated solutions
