**Role purpose**

The QA Engineer is responsible to implement automated code testing frameworks, including documenting and knowledge sharing. You will also be responsible for the design and implementation of code to integrate test setup and clean up data in the database.

**Technologies we use**:

- C# dotnet core and terraform.
- Azure, Function Apps, Event Hubs, and Kubernetes
- Proprietary and commercial solutions for security event detection and incident management
- Detox
- BDD

**Key accountabilities**
- Designing and developing test automation scripts.
- Using test automation guidelines.
- Researching issues in software through testing.
- Collaborating with QA and Software Developers to develop solutions.
- Keeping updated with the latest industry developments.

**Key selection criteria**

**Technical expertise**
- Previous experience as a test automation engineer.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C# and JavaScript
- Ability to build APIs or other mechanisms to setup and clean up data in the DB
- Integrating automated tests into the CI CD Pipeline
- Detox or Appium experience
- Performance and load test experience
- Implementing dashboards to show automated test results
- BDD

**Knowledge and skills**
- Highly accurate and detail oriented.
- Exposure to high traffic / distributed software systems
- Exposure to high throughput mission critical systems

1. Bachelor’s degree - computer science
