We're offering an exciting opportunity for an **Application Support Intern** to join our team. You'll work closely with seasoned IT professionals and project teams on impactful projects, gaining valuable hands-on experience while leveraging and further developing your skills. _This internship offers a 30-hour workweek, with three days required in the office._

**What you will be doing.**:
As our **Application Support Intern, **you will be a key player in providing front-line support, gathering requirements, and assisting with software testing and database administration. You'll enhance your SQL skills, contribute to software development, and help create an interactive training centre for software while providing crucial operational support. Adhere to company QHSE policies, ensuring safety and quality in all tasks. In addition, you will:

- Provide front-line support for internal and client requests, addressing issues and bug reports.
- Gather detailed requirements and coordinate with the Software Team.
- Create and execute test cases, sharing results with the Software Team.
- Configure software/databases for projects and utilize SQL for data management.
- Propose new features and functions using SQL.
- Develop training videos and courses; manage an interactive training centre.
- Conduct training for internal users and clients.
- Support engineers with data extraction and analysis.
- Adhere to company QHSE policies and procedures.
- Proficient in conducting qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods research for augmenting proposal writing,
- R&D, and new product development initiatives.
- And other duties as assigned.

**What we are looking for.**:

- Education: Mathematics, English, Computing/IT Applications, or equivalent.
- Experience: Not required (internship role).
- Technical Skills: Advanced Excel formulas, data QA/QC, strong communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Behavioural Traits: Energetic, creative, ethical, well-organized, self-motivated, and a team player.
- Attributes: Quick learner with strong interpersonal skills, able to engage with all stakeholders, committed to equality and diversity.

Desirable:

- SQL Skills: Proficiency in executing SQL queries and analyzing results.
- CMMS Knowledge: Familiarity with systems like Maximo or SAP.
- Technical Skills (Desirable): Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, programming languages, and Power BI.
- Behavioural Traits (Desirable): Empathy, cultural awareness, ability to work with international teams, and a strategic mindset.
