**THE ROLE**
**WHAT YOU'LL DO**
Migrate and optimize existing reports and dashboards to Power BI, ensuring improved performance and data accuracy.
- Integrate and configure Power BI with data sources such as Jira, Snowflake, SQL Server, MariaDB.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable data models and visualizations using Power BI.
- Implement and manage efficient data processing schedules, maintaining data accuracy and refresh intervals.
- Configure and administer user access, data security protocols, and report distribution within Power BI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business and technical stakeholders, to gather requirements and tailor data solutions accordingly.
- Proactively identify and implement performance enhancements, best practices, and new reporting methodologies.
- Work alongside business units to understand requirements and drive effective data solutions.
- Manage and optimize data transformation, analytics, and reporting processes.
**WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE**
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis and building analytical systems on BI platforms, including PBI.
Expertise in Power BI data modeling, DAX, and creating interactive dashboards and reports.
- Proven track record in managing and optimizing large datasets and enhancing Power BI performance.
- Experience with integrating and querying diverse data sources, such as Jira and Snowflake, as well as SQL Server and MariaDB.
- Strong background in data security, role-based access controls, and governance within Power BI environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
**DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
Hands-on experience migrating legacy reports and dashboards to Power BI.
- Understanding of data warehouse modeling and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project delivery practices.
