**Job Purpose**

**Core Responsibilities**
- Application _
- Reporting to the Application Laboratory Coordinator, you will:

- Act as point of contact in the lab for specific customers/projects across categories
- Administration of sample requests and ordering of fragrance oils
- Perform physical-chemical measurements
- Write and help in updating and revising of technical documentation in the department, under guidance
- Formulation preparation of internal bases
- Perform colour matching and recommend dyes as per client request
- Operate and help maintain standard lab equipment
- Record and communicate results accurately and promptly
- Assist in the administration of materials and laboratory organization.
- Maintain a clean and orderly laboratory environment
- Mentoring _
- Mentor and assist other junior technicians, trainees and others
- Additional Responsibilities _

**Academic Background**

**Professional experience**
- At least 5-7 years lab experience in related area
- Understanding of laboratory techniques as applied to perfumery
- Knowledge of Microsoft Applications
- Can Speak and understand English

**Technical Skills**
- Knowledge of good laboratory practice and safe handling of chemicals
- Accurate record keeping and attention to detail
- Olfactory ability
- Chemistry knowledge
- Perfumery knowledge
- Very good knowledge of lab equipment and its safe usage
- Good Communication skills
