**About the Role**:
Uber Direct is changing the way delivery is done around the world by allowing brands to leverage Uber's fleet to offer last-mile delivery to their customers through their existing websites or apps
As an Operations & Logistics Manager for Uber Direct Brazil you will work on operational improvements & collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure our partners have the best experience possible when using our platform. That means delivering on our promise to deliver any order on time, at any time.
In this role, you will work on high impact projects which will help grow Uber Direct in Brazil. We are looking for an outstanding individual who is passionate about designing and building creative solutions to our most complex problems You will work closely with Portfolio team, and drive alignment across Direct, including Account Managers, LATAM Central Ops, Sales, Merchants and Rides.
**What You'll Do**:
- Proactively scope and lead multiple projects to improve Supply metrics (Cost per trip, Supply Hours, Acceptance Rates and etc) of the Direct business; take accountability for project outcomes, ensure delivery on project critical metrics, & keep others informed of progress
- Analyze sophisticated data, build models, and aggregate insights to drive key business decisions and policies that help drive growth of our business
- Define critical metrics and develop dashboards to track business performance; share findings to cross-functional teams to define short/medium-term strategies and improve decision-making
- Collaborate with account managers, sales, and other teams to identify process inefficiencies, build solutions, and drive operational efficiency (e.g. centralizing repeatable processes, account strategy and growth, weekly performance reporting)
- Be an important cross-functional partner to teams working with Uber Direct (Account Management, Sales, Support, Product, Finance)
**What You'll Need**:
- 3+ years of professional work experience in a related field (start-up, operations, strategy, analytics, tech)
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and SQL proficiency
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
- Excellent organization, time management and prioritization skills; proven ability to balance multiple critical tasks and consistently delivering against deadlines
- English & Portuguese proficiency
- An ability to build deep cross-functional relationships across a broad organization, foster collaborative work environment, and understand problems from diverse perspectives.
- Advanced SQL (Python is a plus)
- Data-driven approach to making decisions and measuring performance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
