Danfoss is looking for a **Sales Development Manager**. You will become part of a truly global team consisting of dedicated and enthusiastic professionals. You will establish new and maintain existing business and work within the sales organization in order to earn customer loyalty, develop market share and deliver sales growth.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following._
- _Meeting customers and identifying opportunities, supporting project execution to secure business and creating alignment between stakeholders in close collaboration with service operations._
- _Demonstrated success in developing and effectively implementing sales solutions to meet customers’ needs and drive financial results._
- _Ability to construct detailed sales plans, conduct customer trainings, develop and deliver presentations, and prepare proposed solutions._
- _Working with colleagues across functions and locations is key in achieving this successfully._
- _Provide_ _input for the demand plan and rolling forecast._
- _Lead customer visits and maintain/cultivate senior level customer relationships. _
- _Ensure alignment and provide support to Sales Manager on regional activities._
- _Direct sales responsibility for select strategic accounts._

**Background & Skills**:

- 3-5 years’ experience in OEM or Distribution channel sales, sales/business development, or significant experience within the hydraulics system, mainly in Spool Valves.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Build and maintain a strong understanding of the industry and competitor trends.
- Ability to proactively engage with both corporate and site-based external stakeholders and clients, strong relationship management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to articulate Danfoss value propositions.
- Proficient user of MS Office tools & Power BI.
- Experienced user of CRM system(s).
- Ability to travel domestically (primary) and internationally (if required).
