Project Manager

The primary role of the Agile Project Manager is to manage all aspects of the project over the entire project life (initiate, plan, execute, control, close), they are responsible for assembling project teams, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, developing schedules to ensure timely completion of assigned projects. In addition to Agile Project Management skills, this position offers a great opportunity for a talented scrum master adept at identifying risks, conceptualizing multiple scenarios, and charting a path to success. The primary goal is to ensure our clients succeed, learn, and innovate. This role must excel at communicating with stakeholders of all levels, it inspires trust, and will have a shared sense of purpose within the project team. While this role can see the big picture, it also requires exceptional detail-orientation with the ability to break down large tasks into manageable steps that are documented, monitored, and controlled. Overview - Proactively manage budget, timeline and agile team for assigned projects. - Manage day-to-day project status and risk and issue-related client communication. - Manage all internal systems (eg: Harvest, Forecast, etc) daily to ensure they are configured with accurate resourcing, budget and dates and a plan margin >15%. - Universally strong adherence to the philosophy of Agile (manifesto and 12 principles). - Balanced, well-reasoned adherence to specific frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe). - Lead all non-client facing rituals (stand-up; planning; retros; etc). - Ensure project success. Typical Functions Project Management - Partner with account management on all client meetings and deliverables. - Report weekly to Product Manager on project health (including budgets, schedules, scope concerns) - Report weekly status updates to clients. - Develop and manage project summaries, project milestones, testing plans, issue logs, risks, and project plan. - Take clear notes on action items, effectively disseminate information and tasks to team, and track and manage action items to completion Scrum Master - Manage backlog burndown and cycle times in project management systems, produce reports and deliver to client. - Facilitate scrum ceremonies, including daily sprints, mid-sprint review, sprint demos, and retrospectives. - Identify and resolve problems, questions, dependencies, and other team dysfunctions. - Manage team velocity, health, and sprint progress, and surface risks to the appropriate stakeholders. - Provide consistent high levels of client communication and customer service. - Partner with Product by keeping all backlogs prioritized, groomed and ready for the next sprint - Write complete User Stories with value statement and acceptance criteria that solve clients’ business needs and provide a clear path for developers. QUALIFICATIONS Required - 3+ years of experience in project management, digital production, product management, or other applicable roles. - Certified Scrum Master. - Direct work experience in the digital realm and knowledge of development project life cycles. - Direct work experience with a variety of software development methodologies and project management tools, i.e. SCRUM/Agile, and Kanban. - Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified time frames. - Self starter, able to think creatively to solve problems. - Eager to learn new skills and take the initiative on projects as needed. - Able to work well against multiple and shifting priorities and differing levels of ambiguity. - "Can-do" attitude with a high sense of urgency. - Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and administrative skills. - Organized, dependable and detail oriented. - Team Player Required - SAFe Project Management Certification. - AWS Business Professional Accreditation. - We consider a combination certifications, degrees, and professional training in lieu of experience._ - POSITION IS 100% REMOTE._
