We are now seeking for a motivated, energetic and goal-driven **Sales Director** to join our growing team. You understand the dynamics of capital equipment sales and enjoy helping customers develop their production processes and solve real operational challenges.

In this role, you will be the first member of Vaski South America. Your mission is to build and promote the Vaski brand in the region and sell high-quality industrial machine tools and complete production solutions. As the business grows, you will have the opportunity to build and lead a regional sales team.

You will act as a strategic partner for your customers - identifying needs, designing solutions, and managing the entire sales process from first contact to delivery.

**Your responsibilities**
- Lead and manage Vaski South America sales operations.
- Drive business development in the region and build a strong market presence.
- Stay up to date on market trends, competitors and investment activity
- Plan, budget and execute regional marketing activities.
- Manage the full sales process from initial contact to final delivery
- Conduct customer meetings and build long-term relationships within the industrial sector
- Assess customers needs, propose solution alternatives and guide customers toward the optimal production setups
- Prepare quotations, calculate profitability and close deals successfully
- Collaborate closely with technical support and sales management
- Report clearly and consistently to headquarters in Finland
- Contribute proactively to the development of sales processes, tools, and ways of working

**We expect from you**
- Experience or strong interest in capital equipment sales, preferably industrial machinery, machine tools or production line solutions
- Ability to understand industrial production processes, bottlenecks, and investment decision criteria, including financial aspects
- Experience across different phases of the sales process, from quotation to commissioning
- Ability to utilise tools and systems that improve documentation and sales efficiency
- A genuine passion for customer interaction - you enjoy presenting, building solutions and engaging in dialogue
- Proactive mindset, strong initiative and the ability to drive actions forward efficiently
- Willingness to use ERP systems and modern tools to improve efficiency.
- Budgeting and planning skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills in Portuguese, Spanish and English. Finnish or Swedish is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% of your working time
