**What the day will look like**
- As the Head of Data & Analytics Latin America, you will play a pivotal role in guiding Aon’s analytical capabilities, demonstrating data to uncover growth levers, optimize business processes, and solve sophisticated analytical challenges. You will ensure that data strategy aligns with organizational goals and drives the development of data culture, policies, and governance, championing data-driven decision-making and fostering collaboration across various business units. As the Latam D&A Leader, you will develop a team to deliver Data & Analytics capabilities to Aon’s business. You will lead, develop, and maintain the data and analytics strategy for the region, working to enhance efficiency, execution, and colleague experience. Working as part of a global function, this role involves building partner relationships, driving a modernization of data analytic tools, as well as driving the development, implementation, and promotion of data governance and quality frameworks and strategies._

**_ Data Strategy and Governance:_**:

- _ Set a clear vision for addressing short-, mid-, and long-term business questions through data strategy._
- _ Establish governance models to ensure data quality, security, privacy, and ethical management._
- _ Champion automation and lean processes to improve data capture and standardization._
- _ Build and lead the technical team, fostering awareness of their impact on business outcomes._
- _ Collaborate with other groups to align decisions with company goals and prevent redundancy of efforts._
- _ Present advancements of key data projects to leadership and challenge existing manual processes for improvement._
- _ Work with business teams to understand & define their key data needs to support analytics and operational delivery for clients._
- _ Work with Aon’s Central Data Office to develop, implement, and maintain data governance policies, procedures, and standards in alignment with industry practices and regulatory requirements._
- _ Support with establishing the framework and operating model that enables effective data governance & management locally in the region._
- _ Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define data governance roles and responsibilities and promote a culture of data stewardship and accountability._
- _ Support identify and assign data stewards within the region._
- _ Supervise the data steward & business/data analyst activities and provide guidance/support._
- _ Establish and implement data quality standards, critical metrics and processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across all systems and platforms._
- _ Report on progress on data cleaning / data quality activities._
- _ Support regional and global MDM activities and outcome/critical metric delivery._
- _ Prioritize and coordinate data governance & management initiatives within region helping provide the vital resources to carry them out._
- _ Participate in global and regional data governance forums._

**_ Data Operations and Engineering:_**:

- _ Ensure key data operation tasks are maintained to guarantee business continuity._
- _ Supervise pipeline health, lead DevOps processes, handle code versions repository, and provide structured and modeled data for various teams._
- _ Responsible for data ingestion from source systems and other data sources into Data Lake._
- _ Align infrastructure and architecture in accordance with standard processes and global guidelines._
- _ Collaborate with multi-functional teams to leverage capabilities and respond to organizational needs._

**_ Data Visualization, Analytics and Reporting Delivery:_**:

- _ Lead analytics projects and generate actionable insights through sophisticated analytics, data modeling, and segmentation to optimize business outcomes and drive critical initiatives._
- _ Drive the automation and self-service approach for reporting needs._
- _ Provide data quality analysis of issues to partners and ensure data integrity and reporting quality._

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**
- _
Experience in a leadership role within BI, analytics, and/or data analytics;_
- _ Shown experience working within financial services or insurance is preferred;_
- _ Background in data-related fields such as data analysis and visualization, data quality, data warehous
