The Genesys Global Presales Security & Privacy solutions architects’ team is a unique team made up of Security/Privacy experts with the skills to provide expert services in support of all key stakeholders (Genesys Sales, Presales, Customers, Partners, Prospects etc.) The team sits within the Global Pre-Sales organization, supporting both direct & indirect business opportunities and new growth strategies.
Genesys is offering you an exceptional career opportunity to join this team of regional cloud experts as a “Security Solutions Architect “with a specialization in security & privacy.
Role and Responsibilities:
- You will assist in product research, RFP responses, product compliance roadmap presentations, risk assessments for our prospects, customers, and partners within your area of specialization.
- You will help to maintain and update our security & compliance knowledge databases for FAQs.
- Own prospect requested Security audits/assessments and collaborate will all other global & regional functions for timely completion of these requests.
- Support our global Compliance teams (Privacy office, Security Office, legal team) with any technical discussions with prospects, customers, and partners as required.
- Be able to explain our security, privacy, and compliance policies, controls & processes for all solutions.
- You will be expected to join calls/meetings with our Prospects, customers, and partners to present our security & compliance approach.
- You will work to enable our Sales and Presales teams, and crucially also our Partners, ensuring a solid foundation of security understanding is established and they have the skills they need to be successful with their opportunities.
- You may be called upon within your area of expertise to assist with any critical situations at a customer site if required.
- Our team DNA is innovation; every team member is also required to contribute to ongoing internal team global projects which are key to our scalability and success. (For example, creation of vertical, country, or regional compliance documentation, presentations, demos, and best practices)

The minimum you need to succeed:
- Show Empathy, Passion, Energy and a Willingness to do whatever it takes to keep our customers happy.
- Professional proven experience within Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Networking, Integrations and Compliance Standards.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services or other cloud based distributed systems.
- Software as a Service experience, and able to articulate your opinions on current technology, security, and compliance trends.
- Strong background and past hand-on experience within Cyber Security/Networking/Application Security, (firewalls, Oauth, SAML etc.).
- Deployment and operation experience of products in a containerized environment, e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.
- Experience implementing or auditing or program managing PCI, ISO 27001, SOC, and other compliance initiatives.
- Bachelor’s Degree with Cyber Security or Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, AWS Certified Security or similar professional experience.
- Excellent Technical writing skills.
- Be a Team Player; be adaptable, able to multi-task, and be ready to travel.
- Ability to work independently with little guidance and be detail-oriented.
- Flexible and adaptable to all work environments.
- Work in-line with team and company standards.
- Goal-oriented and have the self-discipline to complete all work tasks on time.
- Ability to present complex information in a clear, concise manner.
- Fluency in English AND one additional language (Portuguese or Spanish etc.), both written and oral is a must requirement.
- Ability to work at a computer terminal 90% of the typical workday.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous pen testing experience.
- Designing Secure distributed Architectures.
- Vertical Specific security & compliance experience.
- Competitive Customer experience solutions experience.
- Software development experience.
- Prior Genesys products hands-on Experience, in an operational, professional services or presale’s role.
