Corporate Safety - Operations Safety

**Job overview and responsibilities**:

- Interact with the leaders of each department in order to fulfill plans, programs and procedures referring to different legal requirements of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) applicable to the business, aiming at a safe and healthy work environment and the continuous improvement of processes;
- Participate in the implementation of all local OHS programs and procedures, facilitating departmental compliance;
- Daily monitoring of all company activities and working together with the workforce, verifying compliance with requirements, identifying and reporting OHS non-conformities;
- Collaborate with studies of occupational risks within the organization's work processes and environments and in the implementation of control measures;
- Perform the organization's day-by-day OHS services, maintaining compliance and identifying discrepancies with established procedures, local legislation and corporate policies;
- Develop and carry out training, campaigns, lectures and other actions to strengthen the knowledge and awareness of the workforce around the procedures and disseminate preventive practices;
- Conduct periodic inspections and monitor corrective action plans and opportunities for improvement;
- Mentoring the Internal Accident Prevention Committee (CIPA), as well as participating in other committees and groups related to OHS;
- Supervise the work of the Fire Brigade, as well as conduct drills and other activities related to the company's emergency resources;
- Support other departments in demands related to waste management, environmental licenses, environmental bodies of public spheres and airport authorities;
- Report to the Occupational Health and Safety Manager BRA;
**This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.**

**Required**
- Occupational Safety Technician Diploma
- Active registration with the MTE, to integrate SESMT;
- Solid knowledge of OHS legislation, with 3 years of work experience;
- Driver license category B or above;
- Passport with US B1/B2 visa;
- Availability to travel on behalf of the company
- Must be legally authorized to work in Brazil without sponsorship
- Must be fluent in Portuguese and effective communication in English (written and spoken)
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

**Preferred**
- Work experience in OHS, preferable in air transport business line;
- Significant experience in the management of NR35 and NR33;
- Educational background or work experience in the environmental area
