Boeing Brazil is seeking a **Fuels System Manager**, reporting to the Propulsion and ECS Senior Manager, working out of the **São José Dos Campos** office.

The **Fuels System Manager** will lead engineering teams responsible for designing, building, testing, and certifying the fuels system for the current and future commercial airplanes. These critical roles will lead engineering teams developing the hardware and software for the system.

The position includes responsibility for developing and executing project and process plans, implementing policies and procedures, setting operational goals for the team, and acquiring financial and technical resources. This role includes mentoring, developing, and motivating direct reports.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Manage a team of Engineers in the development, validation, verification, integration and certification of Fuels System.
- Be responsible for overall planning, execution, and success of complex projects.
- Partner closely with suppliers to establish project plans and manage team execution.
- Maintain resource and skill forecasts to meet project and daily operating requirements.
- Continuously develop and improve the Fuels Function.
- Manages employees performing engineering and technical tasks in the areas of the BCA Propulsion Systems engineering.
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures, and sets operational goals.
- Coordinates engagement with BCA engineering counterparts located at USA sites: Charleston, Puget Sound, and Long Beach.
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, including budget and staffing.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes.
- Provides oversight and approval of approaches to compliance with regulatory requirements and certification processes.
- Leads and fosters process improvements.
- Develops and maintains a culture of seeking to understand, courage to speak up, active listening and servant leadership to manage, develop, and motivate employees.

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)**:

- Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.
- Must have a degree in Engineering.
- Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA).
- Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language.
- Knowledge and experience of Electrical engineering.
- Experience in management or leadership role.

**Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience)**:

- Experience in the development, integration, and verification of electrical systems.
- Master’s Degree in an engineering related field or Business Administration (MBA).
- Experience with Agile project management methods.
- Experience in requirements management and system safety assessment/functional hazard assessment methodology.
- Experience working in the aviation industry.
- Experience with Model-Based Engineering (MBE) / Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methods.
