We’re looking for a dynamic Business Development leader with a passion for innovation and strategic growth in the sweet goods segment. In this role, you’ll drive new business opportunities and operational strategies, managing investments and analyzing market potential. You’ll work cross-functionally with teams in Application, Creation, Marketing, CSI, Innovation and Sales to identify opportunities for new developments and ingredients optimization. With a focus on dairy, bakery, and confectionery, you’ll contribute to strategic planning and global alignment, shaping the future of our product portfolio.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Lead and continue to nurture the team to deliver the full strategy from marketing & collection of Sweet Goods business. Promote collaborative teamwork across geographies and regionally.
- Influence Global strategy to integrate LATAM markets needs, deploy and execute in LATAM the Sweet Goods Strategy. Continue to highlight to global teams strategic needs for the future to adjust the strategy wherever needed to the local markets reality.
- Develop strong and productive client relations to grow the Sweet Goods business ensuring excellence and strong win rate. Nurture productive customer relationships at senior levels.
- Position Dsm-firmenich as the supplier to count on for competitive added value market knowledge, trends forecasting, consumer insights, brand understanding, winning flavors, technologies, ingredients and technical understanding.
- Anticipate market requirements and gaps translating them into the right portfolio of products and services considering the changing environment.
- Be a key part of the Taste Leadership team to contribute to region growth."

**You bring**
- Solid experience in business development, marketing management, or category management, with a focus on ingredients or flavors, preferably for the sweet goods category.
- Experience in executing global strategies and adapting them to the local context.
- Experience in managing relationships with stakeholders and clients to identify new product development opportunities and business growth.
- Experience in building and implementing market growth strategies, trend forecasting, market knowledge, and consumer insights.
- Fluent in English and Spanish is desirable.
