Dow Chemical has an opportunity for a **Sourcing Manager** position located in **Sao Paulo, Brazil**.
**Responsibilities / Duties**
Develop, adapt, and implement the purchasing strategy in the region.
- utilizes business acumen and analytics to drive value from the market, influence stakeholders and vendors
- Be responsible for the negotiation, execution and implementation of commercial agreements and related work processes in accordance with the strategies within the commercial area and/or geography.
- Manage supplier performance facilitating complex problems solutions.
- Leverage supplier relationship management and drive decisions according to market conditions, ESG elements, such as Sustainability, Inclusion and Diversity, Innovation and Digitization.
- Lead projects or project steps within a broader project or may have accountability for on-going activities or objectives locally or globally.
- Act as a reference for colleagues with less experience, guiding and collaborating with their learning and development.
**Experience**
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field like Supply Chain, Purchasing, Business Administration, etc.
- Fluence in English is mandatory, Spanish is a plus.
- 5+ years of industrial experience (Logistics, Purchasing).

- Excellent Data Management skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability and experience to work with and influence multiple functions and businesses stakeholders is appropriate for success in the role.
- Works independently, receives mínimal guidance and direction
