DESCRIPTION

The Commercial Carrier Manager in Brazil plays a crucial role in exceeding customer expectations during transportation. This multi-faceted position requires balancing tactical activities with strategic planning for transportation execution with 3P carriers. The role manages operations impacting quality (DEA), speed (GVS), cost (CPP), and losses (DNR and Shrinkage). This includes managing relationships with 3rd party transportation providers, driving tactical actions to balance Service Level Agreements with Operational Costs, and overseeing all aspects of 3P carrier operations, including capacity planning, continuous improvement, coverage expansion, peak readiness, and delivery speed definition.

Key job responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with 3P carriers and internal stakeholders
- Analyze network losses and implement improvement plans
- Coordinate package return processes for Fulfillment Centers and Sellers
- Track and report on key performance metrics
- Identify and implement network efficiency improvements
- Create and maintain performance dashboards using SQL and other analytical tools
- Develop regular reporting cycles to track carrier performance and network health
- Document and standardize processes for better team alignment
- Identify trends and opportunities for optimization through data analysis

Network Performance Monitoring & Analysis:

- Monitor daily network performance metrics
- Analyze carrier capacity utilization
- Identify network bottlenecks
- Deep dive into performance anomalies

Stakeholder Collaboration
- Daily stand-ups with Carrier Managers
- Weekly reviews with S&OP team
- Regular alignment with Network Loss Prevention
- Carrier performance review meetings
- Cross-functional project meetings
- Technical solution design sessions

- Carrier Managers - collaborate on WBRs, MBRs and carriers' performance discussions
- Transportation Operations - Daily alignment on carrier performance and operational issues
- S&OP Team to discuss forecast and capacity
- Business teams to new programs implementation
- Last Mile Operations - Coordinate on delivery experience improvements
- Finance Team - Regular reviews of cost performance and budget alignment
- Customer Service - Address escalated delivery issues and pattern recognition
- Regional Operations Teams - Support local transportation needs and challenges

External Partners:

- 3P Carriers - Regular performance reviews and improvement discussions
- Carrier Operations Teams - Daily operational alignment and issue resolution

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working cross functionally with non-tech teams
- Experience in program or project management
- Experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- Experience in finance projects, including requirement gathering and testing in environments with distributed systems
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
