**About the Role**:
We are looking for a talented and experienced 3D Technical Animator to join our Creative Team and play a crucial role in bringing characters and animated assets to life in-game. This role will be instrumental in establishing standards for character performance, developing and optimizing animation systems, creating animation controllers and blending trees that combine custom animations with content from our animation library. You'll work closely with artists, engineers, and animators to bridge creative vision with performance-optimized systems, ensuring a smooth and scalable animation pipeline.

**Key Responsibilities**

Develop, implement, and maintain real-time animation systems for characters, creatures, and animated props

Create and optimize character rigs, skinning, and deformation systems suitable for gameplayBuild and manage Animation Blueprints, State Machines, Control Rigs, and blend treesIntegrate custom animations and animation library content into gameplay-ready systemsWork with Physics Assets and Cloth Assets to support dynamic and physically responsive animationCollaborate closely with animators, artists, and programmers to ensure animation systems meet both artistic and gameplay requirementsOptimize animation setups for performance, stability, and scalability
- Contribute to and help document animation pipelines, workflows, and best practices

**Requirements**:
Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Senior 3D Technical Animator in the video game industry;
Advanced experience working in Unreal Engine, with strong knowledge of Animation Blueprints, State Machines, and Control Rig;Strong proficiency in Maya, with extensive experience in character rigging, skinning, and gameplay animation;Professional experience animating characters, creatures, and props for real-time gameplay;Solid understanding of character art pipelines and production workflows;Experience working with version control systems in a professional production environment;Proven ability to mentor and support technical animators, providing clear, constructive, and actionable feedback;Excellent communication and documentation skills, particularly when explaining technical setups to artists and designers;
- Fluent in English (native or professional level).

High level of organisation and attention to detail;Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary, remote team;Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver work within agreed deadlines;
- Experience working in distributed or remote team environments.

**Preferred Qualifications**

Experience developing animation tools to support rigging and animation workflows;
Scripting experience using Python, PyMel, or MEL;Familiarity with optimization and debugging of complex animation systems;
- Experience working on third-person or character-driven games.
