**About the Company**

A business who has been in existence for over 30 years, that manufactures high quality pet food through feed mills located in Tongala are looking for a Production Manager to join their business.
**About the Role**

Reporting to the Site Manager, the Production Manager is an integral member of the CopRice leadership team with management responsibilities for implementing the business strategy for CopRice Feeds and creating a high performing team. The role is responsible for creating a pro-active and planned manufacturing environment ensuring efficient operation of the CopRice Bulk manufacturing sites while ensuring production requirements are optimally met within the established safety, quality and a cost-effective environment.

Some key responsibilities of the role are:

- Ensure the feed mill is operating to produce agreed levels of finished product within agreed specifications
- Complete HACCP reviews and GMP audits
- Review production plan to ensure effective and supports quality systems
- Monitor Site performance as per agree targets - Production efficiency (OEE, Utilisation etc.), Distribution Performance, Cost, Customer service DIFOT
- Lead site process improvement projects
- Ensure all work is completed in a safe manner in accordance with Group safety management systems

**Skills & Experience**

This is an exciting and integral role within the business for future growth and your experience and skill set will include the following:

- Manufacturing/Industry Exposure - A minimum of 5 years + Broad Financial & Operational experience covering Production Management, Raw material Procurement, Logistics / warehousing etc
- Continuous Improvement - Can demonstrate examples of implementing a continuous improvement culture and systems
- Financial management - Managed budgets, operational expenditure, capital expenditure.
- SAP experience
- Stockfeed / Agri experience/ FMCG Industry experience would be desirable
