Senior Financial Planning Analyst, Google Pay

Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or equivalent practical experience. - 7 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, Accounting, Consulting, or a related field. - Ability to speak and write in English and Portuguese fluently. Preferred qualifications: - Experience in financial planning and modeling within the payments or technology industry. - Experience with financial data tools, spreadsheets, and Enterprise Resource Planning/forecasting systems (i.e., SAP, etc.). - Experience with early stage product development. - Ability to be a trusted translator between product and finance leadership. - Ability to adapt to new approaches in a rapidly changing environment. - Excellent business acumen, analytical, problem solving, and internal controls/risk management skills. **About the job**: Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Senior Financial Planning Analyst, you will work with parts of the banking/payments ecosystem including networks, issuers, gateways, and Finance Technologies to deliver the best solutions globally. From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business. **Responsibilities**: - Oversee product offerings, investments, and growth initiatives to drive business growth. - Manage product, provide actionable financial analysis and business insights, help drive business growth and cost optimization mechanisms, lead planning/forecasting, and develop/enhance driver based models. - Partner with Product Operations and Product Managers to develop/review business plans and evaluate investment decisions. - Analyze commercial partnership agreements and new business opportunities to influence business decisions regarding agreement structures, operationalization, and returns. - Design, develop, and report on Key Performance Indicators to monitor the performance of agreements and operations in order to create a platform for strategic decision-making.
