**Non-Bank Financial Institutions is currently seeking an Analyst based out of our Rio de Janeiro office.**
- Fitch Ratings’ non-bank financial institutions (NBFI) group is a growing component of the broader Financial Institutions rating group, including coverage of finance and leasing companies, investment managers, securities firms, and financial market infrastructure companies._

**We’ll Count on You To**:

- _Undertake credit ratings on new rating mandates and monitor existing ratings, adhering to Fitch's criteria and processes, as a Primary or Secondary Analyst _
- _Provide active support to other senior members of the team in data collection, sector and macro research’s, peer comparisons, internal tools, among other operational tasks. _
- _Actively participate in rating committees, offering your opinion and insight _
- _Closely follow market developments surrounding rated transactions and issuers; taking necessary rating action where required. _
- _Maintain contact with issuers, regulator(s) and related market constituents. _
- _Conduct regular Issuer/Sector/Market research to assist with your analysis and compile rating reports and committee packages. _
- _Participate in internal discussions on sector-wide credit issues that could lead to publication of research reports. _
- _Publish external research (including issuer reports, special sector reports, presentations) _
- _Maintain files in accordance with internal policies in relation to meetings, committee documentation and external correspondence. _
- _Financial data entry and maintain up-to-date databases/systems. _

**What You Need to Have**:

- _Bachelor’s Degree with a specialty in Finance, Economics or Accounting is strongly preferred._
- _Proficiency in the use of Excel/Word/PowerPoint._
- _Strong business Portuguese and English - Spanish is a desirable but not mandatory, writing skills and oral communication skills._
