Boeing Brazil Engineering is seeking Senior Engineering Manager Electrical and Flight Control, reporting directly to the Engineering Director of the Sao Jose Dos Campos, Brazil branch. The Senior Engineering Manager Electrical and Flight Control will be leading a team of managers and engineers. This team will create optimization and transformation proposals for continuous improvements in safety, quality, value and technical solutions.

**Position Responsibilities**:
- Manages employees and first-level managers performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Systems Engineering
- Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
- Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)**:
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physics
- Solid experience in management
- Solid experience in engineering development
- Experience building, leading, managing and mentoring high-performance teams
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
- Legally able to work in Brazil
**Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience)**:
- Experience working in an engineering industry across the entire product lifecycle
- Flexible collaboration skills and experience with Agile methodologies
