QA Engineering Manager

**As a QA Engineering Manager, you will**:

- Directly manage, mentor, and grow a dedicated team of 15-20 QA Engineers, covering both manual and automation testing expertise.
- Prioritize your team's development by focusing on their individual needs, motivations, and career aspirations through active coaching and continuous feedback.
- Collaborate with QA leadership to shape and implement the department's strategic vision, ensuring alignment with company-wide objectives.
- Identify, propose, and lead department-level initiatives aimed at improving processes, enhancing team health, and increasing the overall maturity of our QA practice.
- Establish and promote high standards and best practices in quality assurance, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance evaluations, set clear goals, and provide the necessary support for the professional growth of each team member.
- Oversee resource allocation, ensuring team members are assigned to projects that match their skills and project needs, removing obstacles to ensure their success.
- Work closely with Development, Product, and Project Management departments to ensure a seamless and efficient integration of QA processes within the entire delivery lifecycle.

**What about you?**:

- You have proven experience managing a QA team of 15-20+ individuals, with a clear focus on both manual and automation engineers.
- 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 5 years in a direct people management or leadership role.
- A strong ability to see the bigger picture, align team objectives with business goals, and drive strategic initiatives from concept to completion.
- You are a natural coach and mentor, passionate about helping people grow and reach their full potential.
- A profound understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and modern Quality Assurance processes and methodologies.
- You possess outstanding communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- You have a proactive mindset, with a strong focus on finding solutions and delivering results.

**Nice to have**:

- Familiarity with managing budgets for tools, training, or other team resources.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and DevOps best practices.
- Experience providing technical consultancy and support to sales teams.
- Basic scripting skills (e.g., JavaScript, PHP).
- Technical studies in Automatics, Electronics, Mathematics and Computer Science (student or graduate).
