Valvoline has a rewarding opportunity as a highly motivated **Accountant AP/GL.**

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of financial management tasks within the organization. These tasks include maintaining the general ledger, ensuring the accurate processing of incoming invoices into the ERP system, and reconciling accounts with supplier.Playing a key role in ensuring that all financial processes are in strict alignment with company policies, with attention to detail and strong analytical abilities, will be essential for maintaining accurate and reliable financial records.

**Specific responsibilities and activities**:

- Managing the general ledger.
- Data entry/processing of incoming invoices into the ERP system finance module.
- Reconciliation/alignment of accounts with suppliers.
- Support on coordination of the workflow with various teams within the organization to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices.
- Cooperation with banks, preparation of bank guarantees, bills of exchange and related documentation.
- Preparation of related documentation for excise refund.
- Posting standard items within month-end closing (FX rate, support on GR/IR, intercompany reconciliations).
- Ensuring compliance with group reporting / local requirements / SOX.
- Responsible for processing accounting entries related to assigned tasks.
- Posting accruals related to revenue recognition, e.g., delivered but unpaid goods, deferred billing and others.
- Preparing reports for analysis by other internal departments.
- Contact with external and internal auditors.
- Support on handling rebate.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.

In order to be successful in this role you will need to have or be:

- HS Diploma
- Good computer skills including Word, Excel, MS Outlook.
- Proficiency in English.
- Three years experience in similar or related positions.
- Experience in using and implementing ERP systems (Oracle, SAP).
- Familiarity with e-invoice system portals (SEF).
- Knowledge of VAT laws.
