Dow has an opportunity as a **Senior Product Regulatory Specialist** located in **São Paulo - SP (BRA)**
The professional supports the business regulatory complexity and requirements by monitoring regulatory developments, providing interpretation and consulting services. Provides assistance to businesses by completing regulatory submittals and reporting requirements. In addition, serves as Dow representative at external networks for advocacy, performs necessary product regulatory assessments and serves as the local Dow contact in case of enforcement actions by regional & local authorities.
**Responsibilities**:
- Proactively interprets and consults for the businesses using expanded conceptual knowledge and broadened capabilities.
- Responsible for completing regulatory submittals and reporting requirements
- Provides rule/regulatory interpretation and ensures appropriate documentation
- Engages with regulatory officials on products of interest and advocates for improvements of rules, requirements, management systems, data requests
- Coordinates the development of materials to support Customer Education and Assessment/Review programs.
- Completes compliance-related inquiries within pre-defined timelines
- Responsible for the design and execution of key regulatory work processes (i.e. International Conventions, Biodiversity regulations, etc.) and for the training of stakeholders
**Requirements**:
- 5 years of experience in chemical industry, regulatory consulting firms or regulatory bodies.
- Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Law, Pharmacy
- Fluent English
**Desirable Requirement**:
- Spanish
