**Skills and Competencies**:

- 2+ years of experience in Structured Finance or 3-4 years in credit analysis in similar fields.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills are a must.
- Validated and well-developed analytical and modelling skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in Portuguese and English; Spanish skills are a plus.
- Knowledge of Python programming and Visual Basic for Applications is a plus.

**Education**:

- Minimum bachelor’s degree in economics, business administration, statistics, accounting, or engineering.

**Responsibilities**
- Analyze new structured finance transactions to assign ratings, and review ratings of existing transactions.
- Analyze transaction documents to understand transaction structure and legal, operational, and counterparty risks.
- Analyze characteristics of underlying portfolio and performance history to derive loss assumptions.
- Lead virtual and in-person meetings with originators, advisors, and other transaction participants as part of the rating analysis process.
- Present credits efficiently and accurately in rating committees and other internal analytical meetings, formulate a coherent credit rationale and present this rationale in a persuasive fashion.
- Communicate rating rationales to investors and other market participants through rating reports, presentations, and meetings.
- Assist in producing timely and relevant research on specific issuers or sector related issues that is in-depth, high quality, informative and focused.
- Assist in rating methodology, model and scorecard updates.
- Build and manage relationships with investors, advisors, and issuers.
