**Junior Market Analyst** - São Paulo - Hybrid working

**The Role**

This will involve producing a range of written reports on a host of currencies and market moving events, presenting Ebury’s in-house views to front office staff and assisting in the company’s PR efforts by answering journalist questions.

This is an exciting opportunity to help increase the breadth of the company’s research material as it expands into new regions across the globe, with a primary focus on Latin America.

**Responsibilities**:

- Produce FX market reports on a range of currencies, particularly those in Latin America, to be distributed to Ebury’s sales & dealing teams.
- Assist in the production of currency forecast reports through researching macroeconomic data, central bank monetary policy, politics etc.
- Provide ‘live’ insight to front office on the developments in the FX market.
- Assist in PR effort by answering journalist questions related to the FX market.
- Aid in the translation of our market analysis content from English into Portuguese.
- Present Ebury’s in-house views and forecasts to the Brazilian sales and dealing teams.
- Assist in new starter training sessions.

**Requirements**:

- University degree (economics or economics-related degree preferable, but not an absolute must).
- Fluent Portuguese speaker, with working proficiency of the English language - ability to translate material from English to Portuguese and vice versa.
- A clear, concise and engaging writing style.
- Keen and enthusiastic about financial markets, macroeconomics and politics, with an appetite to learn more.

**Desired skills**:

- Good presentation skills.
- Experience of producing written material to a publishable standard.
- Previous experience of working within the financial services sector.
