**Fleet Material Planner**

**Introduction to the Job**

We are looking for an experienced Fleet Material Planner who can join our multicultural team in Rio de Janeiro.

**Job description**:

- Analyze technically with the operational areas the standardization of materials requested by the vessels.
- Intermediate the correct technical specification of the registration of items, avoiding rework with corrections, waste of time and unnecessary costs with purchase of incorrect equipment.
- Perform analysis of forecast consumption demands, evaluation of onboard stocks, definition of minimum and maximum stocks, resupply point and economic lot.
- Carry out order monitoring and expediting of the material and service acquisition process.
- Execute Logistics projects, such as the Distribution Center: Perform the correct dimensioning of the storage area for different products, optimization of operational resources of manpower and equipment, both for handling and for the collection, consolidation, fractioning and separation of loads.
- Organize all necessary resources for the implementation, development of new phases and control of the Distribution Center.
- Improve the internal processes for the acquisition of items and services, in order to optimize the flow of requisitions.
- Perform planning, analysis and control of material purchases.
- Participate in the identification and creation of new agreements with suppliers(ACAs)
- Optimize the use of material control systems and tools.
- Deliver data, reports, cost analysis and other information for decision making
- Improve interface between internal departments in order to standardize, reduce time and costs
- Verify the completion of data in control spreadsheets in order to ensure the integrity of information and contribute to process improvement
- Issue, monitor and analyze the indicators (KPIs) of the Material Planning area.
- Participate in the planning, scope and schedule of new projects. Ex: WMS/QRCode.
- Assist the Project Manager and Coordinator (when applicable) in their duties.
- Ensure customer satisfaction.
- Issue and/or participate in the issue of Procedures and Work Instructions.
- Conduct training in computerized systems for Onshore and Offshore employees in the creation of requisitions for Materials and services, order tracking, material receipts, inventory management, etc.
- Issue purchase requisitions for resupply materials to the Distribution Center and the vessels when necessary.
- Responsible for own and other safety in the area and be integrated with the QHSE program.

- Degree in Engineering, management or related training in Logistics activities,
- Supply chain and process improvements;
- Has Excel Advanced
- Intermediate / Advanced English;
