**Role description**

To perform this role efficiently, the test manager for IT projects:

- Building up and leading the Testing Team to the success of project
- Defining the scope of testing within the context of each release / delivery
- Deploying and managing resources for testing
- Planning, deploying, and managing the testing effort for any given engagement.
- Setup and execute test scenarios or support the Functional Teams for the execution of Test Scenarios.
- Report on the progress of test execution. Capture the test evidence following the Quality guidelines.
- Record issues (defects). Track the resolution of the issues to closure.

**Qualification and Experience Details**:

- Audit experience and mindset is helpful
- Strong understanding of records and documentation requirements in a regulated environment
- Ability to manage testing teams to achieve testing results
- Working knowledge of testing tools (i.e., Microsoft Azure DevOps, HP ALM)
- Must be an expert in test management methods and processes.
- Must be able to support multiple activities in the testing lifecycle
- Must be able to demonstrate experience in using SAP Solution Manager/HPQC/Azure DevOps for managing test cases, test execution and recording and reporting test results.
