- British American Tobacco Sri Lanka has an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Executive in Colombo
- ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
- We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Manufacturing Executive to join our Operations Team. This role plays a key part in driving loss elimination initiatives, with a strong focus on Wrapping Material Waste (WMW) monitoring and analysis. You will also support Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities through timely and accurate execution of SAP service receipt processes.
- WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
- Monitor, analyze, and report on Wrapping Material Waste (WMW) trends; identify key loss drivers in collaboration with line and area teams.
- Lead and support loss elimination initiatives related to WMW within the Loss Elimination pillar framework.
- Maintain and regularly update dashboards, trackers, and visual boards to ensure visibility and governance of WMW performance.
- Document and follow up on WMW-related action plans and results.
- Execute SAP service processes, particularly Goods Receipt (GR) postings for services within PM workflows.
- Collaborate with the PM team to ensure accurate service confirmations and closure of service orders in SAP.
- Participate in pillar reviews, audits, and governance routines to provide updates and share insights.
- Support adherence to IWS standards and best practices across relevant workstreams.
- Work closely with IWS pillar leaders to monitor progress and drive performance toward Phase progression.
- Contribute to training, documentation alignment, and assessments to support capability building across the team
- ESSENTIAL EPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- BSc in Engineering or any other equivalent qualification
- 1 - 2 Years experience in manufacturing
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Outstanding communication skills, strong interpersonal, team building and negotiation skills
- Energetic, resilient, self-motivated, result-driven, highly adaptable, and able to work independently
- Effective Stakeholder engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
