Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of product management or technology experience
- Advanced English and native Brazilian Portuguese skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages
- Strong analytical skills, ability to produce, interpret and draw conclusions from complex data.
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems and translate customer needs into projects using creative thinking and innovation
- Strong project management skills, able to coordinate multiple cross functional teams, lead multiple tasks with competing priorities and communicate status to senior leadership
- Passionate self-starter with proven ability to move fast in an ambiguous environment
- Experience thinking strategically and executing tactically, with desire to roll up your sleeves
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new digital tools for process optimization and reporting

Job summary
Are you looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced, innovative business? Come make history with the Amazon Alexa Brazil team We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to improve the Alexa experience and invent on behalf of Brazilian customers.

Key job responsibilities
- Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance, and operational support
- Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
- Continuous monitoring of customer experience performance, identify gaps and improvement areas and build improvement plan with short and long-term solutions
- Raise the customer experience quality bar by implementing new mechanisms and working closely with multiple Alexa’s teams across the globe
- Define creative, high quality, simple product roadmaps based on team strategy and vision
- Define customer experience needs, identifying gaps, features enhancements and opportunities
- Work closely with engineering teams and program management to deliver products to market
- Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals

A day in the life
- Monitor quality metrics, define and implement mechanisms to address defects
- Partner with Alexa Domains and Feature teams to launch features for Brazilian customers
- Own Alexa devices launch programs in Brazil supporting Alexa Devices teams
- Prioritize and communicate product improvements to Domains and Feature owners based on customer anecdotes and quality metrics

About the team
The Alexa Brazil team defines, delivers, and create Alexa experiences in Brazilian Portuguese based on local customer needs. The team drives engagement, manages local content and Alexa's Brazilian personality, support device and feature launches and set priorities to improve quality for customers across device types (Echo, Fire TV, Alexa Built-in, and Mobile).
- Experience in start-up type environments
- Experience with a blend of technical, business and product, and/or program management
- Experience working with remote teams
- Experience in communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels across multiple business units
- Prominent level of computer literacy, experienced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and comfortable dealing with large datasets, complex systems, and technical concepts
- SQL knowledge
- MBA or Master’s degree.
