Finance Operations Analyst, Collections

Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience - 1 year of experience working in client management/consulting - Experience working in the Collections/Order to Cash/customer service space- Ability to speak and write in English, Spanish, and Portuguese fluently Preferred qualifications: - Experience in developing healthy customer partnerships - Experience with data extraction and reporting - Experience working in the digital advertising industry - Ability to connect with relevant teams and colleagues seamlessly and proactively - Detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks accordingly **About the job**: The Finance Operations team manages Google's cash transactions on a global basis and ensures that Google's incoming and outgoing cash processes are controlled, effective and efficient. As a member of this team, you'll find innovative ways to manage our complex set of transactions. You'll make processes more efficient and scalable, work to ensure the highest level of quality of our operations, and proactively minimize operational risk. Externally, you collaborate with our extended workforce partners and internally, you will collaborate across the multiple areas of the Financial Operations team. The Revenue to Cash Operations (RCO) team manages RCO processes globally across all product areas, including Ads, Digital Goods, Google Cloud, and Hardware. We create innovative ways to manage our complex set of billing and payment transactions, making processes more efficient and scalable, minimizing operational risk, integrating new products, connecting with payment and invoicing partners and so much more. In this role, you'll be part of a team that works with the invoice to cash operations processes for Google’s customers by collecting cash and creating solutions to various blockers to payment. You will manage collections efforts for a portfolio of customers that includes our strategic and robust Ads, Google Cloud, or Hardware partners. And nobody at Google loves big numbers like the Finance team when providing in depth analysis on all manner of strategic decisions across Google products. From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business. **Responsibilities**: - Manage accounts to identify payments, report collections activity, address client queries, and develop repayment plans. - Develop and maintain trusted relationships with counterparts on the external customer and internal business side to understand the billing and payments experience for clients. - Leverage understanding of customer needs, Google products, and systems to identify and proactively address drivers of non-payment. Provide ongoing consultation and support to stakeholders on questions related to Google’s policies and processes. - Partner with Operations Management team and Collections process tower to proactively surface operational feedback and address process gaps/issues. - Drive resolution on billing and payment problems by troubleshooting issues, understanding and solving the root cause.
