Strong experience within transportation, procurement and logistics areas;
- Strong understanding of the all of the programs in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Access;
- The person should have good analytical and problem solving skills with a capability of setting priorities and working under pressure;
- Must be able to multi-task, managing multiple activities simultaneously with attention to detail and high capability to work on different projects in parallel;
- Fluent English and Portuguese.

Job summary
Amazon Transportation Services is looking for a highly qualified and motivated member. Strategic responsibilities include (but are not limited to) working on developing the middle mile transportation network in Brazil, developing new transportation partners, working closely with Fulfillment Center (FC) operations, carrier hubs and other transportation and supply chain functions and help critical customer partners on how to best use Amazon transportation services.

Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) manages best-in-class surface transportation programs for our internal and external customers. Connecting fulfillment centers, sort centers, air gateways and final mile delivery stations. If a truck load needs to be moved, we deliver results. Amazon is one of the most recognizable brand names in the world and we distribute over a billion shipments each year to our loyal customers.
- Interest in long-term career development through assignments in multiple facilities.
- Experience working in distribution center/fulfillment center operations.
- Up to 25% travel (domestic).
- Strong organizational and clerical skills;
- Excellent Communication skills - deal with carriers as stakeholders/customers;
- Previous experience in following processes and analyses, metrics and problem solving;
- Goal driven, target orientated, able to step back and look at the bigger picture (helicopter view), the person will also be able to manage ambiguity with their sleeves rolled up, and possess a preparedness to get involved;
- The person must be willing to work independently;
- Experience of managing 3rd party contract resource arrangements on a large/national scale;
- Awareness of the importance of customer service;
- Excellent relationship skills.
