**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
We are hiring a **Staff Accountant** to our **Global Accounting** team in São Paulo

This role is to join our Global Accounting team. You will be responsible for managing the accounting global monthly process. As a Staff Accountant you will be expected to provide support to different departments on a daily basis. You will be expected to manage a large portfolio of accounts where you will be responsible for understanding the finance and accounting department needs, presenting the reconciliations, reports and answer to daily queries of the global teams. This is a great opportunity to join a rapidly expanding team in a diverse and dynamic environment. This role will work closely with the Accounting Director and Global Accounting Team.

**YOUR IMPACT**:

- Assisting with the global monthly close process
- Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations
- Collaborate with the financial operations teams
- Work closely with FP&A on variance analysis
- Work with internal audit to assess financial controls
- Coordinate directly with independent auditors in completing annual US GAAP financial audits
- Collaborate with BPOs on local statutory filings

**WHO YOU ARE**
- At least 3-5 years' experience in a mix of public auditing and private industry accounting
- Fluent in English
- A licensed CPA with Big 4 experience is preferred
- Experience with NetSuite is preferred
- Solid experience in the US GAAP standards and principles
- Highly disciplined with an ability to effectively self-organize and efficiently prioritize
- Ability to translate and implement international accounting standards into US GAAP standards
- A true team player who loves working towards both team and individual goals
- Strong organizational, time management, and exceptional attention to detail
- A strong communicator who is both tenacious and goal-oriented
- International work experience is preferred
