Senior Project Lead

**WHAT YOU'LL DO**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Lead within the Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) organization for a strategic SAP customer. You will be responsible of several landscapes driving them through from system specification phases to PROD migration. Migrations occur during all time zones therefore occasional flexibility is required.

The expected tasks are:

- You are responsible of planning and managing the system build/deployment activities at SAP ECS, handover to migration team and after migration coordination of post-migration activities.
- Actual migration activities are coordinated by separate migration project leads. The Project lead would need to work in close alignment with migration team.
- Post migration, you will drive the maintenance of systems as required by the customer.
- Documentation of the project, managing projects risks and issues ensuring that adequate escalation processes are followed as part of Project Management practices.
- Communication amongst all involved parties to ensure alignment, coordination and collaboration to always meet the projects’ objectives,
- Mentors and guides junior team members of the team

**WHAT YOU BRING**
- A bachelor’s degree in IT, or equivalent relevant field
- 6+ years professional experience
- Project Management experience and knowledge. Good collaboration skills and understanding of project planning for technical migration project with a strong focus on customer service focus. Good experience on DB/OS migration, S/4 conversions, software upgrade projects, system copy and client copy/refresh.
- Good Technical/SAP Basis understanding and or experience
- Experience with delivering Cloud Services e.g. with migrations to ECS or other ways
- ability to lead teams, take ownership and keep all the strings in hand and work closely with different stakeholders.
- strong English skills to join international team. Good analytical and solution-oriented thinking
- Possibility to work on weekend shifts for production cutovers

ECS BMW Delivery will provide an E2E service by combining operations services with advanced packages such as architecture, security and compliance management, and release management, and aims at providing a “public cloud” like experience.

The goal of the team is to ensure customer & SAP’s ITSM tools are always aligned and within defined quality guidelines.
