As Senior Manager, A&R in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, you will be responsible for prospecting and signing new artists and labels to The Orchard. This role will report to the Vice President, Brazil and will be based out of our Rio de Janeiro office.

**What you'll do**:

- Seek and identify labels and artists (emerging and consolidated) to sign to The Orchard
- Maintain a deep understanding of the latest trends and developments in the music industry
- Lead the conversation with artists managers and label owners to present The Orchard value proposition and identify the best negotiation model to make the partnership possible.
- Work closely with other departments, including marketing, legal, and finance, to ensure that campaigns are aligned with business objectives and artist brand
- Build relationships with industry contacts such as managers, agents, and promoters to ensure that The Orchard remains a leader in the market
- Attend concerts, showcases, and other industry events to network, seek out talent, and stay current with the latest trends
- Collaborate with other executives to make key decisions regarding the direction and vision

**Who you are**:

- A Bachelor's degree in Music, Marketing, Business or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in the music industry, ideally in an A&R role
- A proven track record of success in identifying and signing talented musical artists
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
- An intimate knowledge of production, recording, and marketing practices in the music industry
- The ability to make confident and informed decisions under time pressure
- A deep passion for music, and a desire to nurture and guide new and emerging artists
- Fluency in English and Portuguese
