**Brazil GSG Head**. GSG, Global Subsidiaries Group, is the Corporate Bank area that covers all the subsidiaries of Citi’s Global Multinational clients. In Brazil this represents the coverage of approximately 1k clients and a team of 20 Bankers. **The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of Citi’s unique global Network to Citi’s clients subsidiaries and regional treasury centers in Brazil. Success will largely be defined by driving revenue growth, taking direct ownership of client experience in partnership with stakeholders across our firm and driving banker’s productivity. Driving GSG Brazil into the top GSG franchise globally, owning the transformation it entails, partnering with different stakeholders across the firm in Brazil, Latam and across the globe, is a major objective. This **Managing Director** level position **reports to the GSG Latam Head and also to **the **Brazil Corporate Bank Head**.**:**Responsibilities**: - ** Develop and monitor a client driven franchise growth plan which is delivered through people, partnership and franchise management**: - ** Responsible for overall subsidiary relationship management of clients and providing a wide range of treasury and corporate finance solutions, including cash management, trade, vendor finance, FX, general credit, loans, debt capital markets, and commodities**: - ** Drive client planning, product agnostic cross selling, client access, and effective capital allocation within the Institutional Client Groups (ICG) Coverage Banker proposition**: - ** Responsible for meeting revenue goals and other goals related to budget, risk management, and credit allocation in partnership with **Parent Account Managers, **Global Capital Management (GCM) and Risk**: - ** Position Brazil as a primary allocation for our client’s wallets based on the strengths of Citi Brazil’s value proposition**: - ** Attract, develop and retain talent, ensuring diversity in the team is nurtured as a core value**: - **Understand regional and emerging market trends to identify growth opportunities, anticipate obstacles and communicate a forward-looking vision that is responsive to changes in the environment**: - ** Translate Citi’s strategy into an effective and efficient GSG business plan and drive a healthy balance between near-term and long-term priorities**: - ** Drive innovation, differentiation, speed to market and promote cross selling of products across the full ICG platform**: - ** Partner with Investment banking team to drive origination and execution of episodic transactions**: - **Ensure client relationships and proposed client solutions meet or exceed internal risk and return standards, including stringent ethical standards and anticipated future changes in the marketplace**: - ** **Qualifications**: - ** Methodic, disciplined approach to business**: - ** 15+ years of relevant experience**: - ** Experience in people management**: - ** Senior Credit Officer preferred**: - ** In-depth experience advising clients on treasury solutions, working capital management, risk management and debt & capital markets**: - ** Demonstrated ability to balance between internal management and external client time**: - ** Demonstrated understanding of compliance issues and regulatory requirements (global and local)**: - ** Proven leadership skills and intellectual capability to create momentum and a collective agenda across multiple products with a diverse population and competing priorities**: - ** Demonstrated intellectual grasp of the industry and ability to anticipate and lead the organizational response to future changes and translate vision into executable plans**: - ** Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with pragmatic approach to ensure limited resources are directed appropriately**: - ** Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication**: - ** English speaking is a must**: - ** Portuguese native speaking is preferable**: **Education**: - ** Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience**: - ** Master's/MBA degree preferred from a top economics, business, or financial engineering program**: - ** Certificação mandatória: CPA-20**: - **Job Family Group**: Institutional Banking - **Job Family**: Corporate Banking - **Time Type**: Full timeCiti is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
