An experienced **Group Financial Manager** sought within a well-established property development company.
A well
- recognized property development company operating both nationally and internationally. They specialize in the development and management of commercial and industrial properties. Opportunistic and entrepreneurial are terms that best describe our client. They are seeking to find an attentive, hands-on Charted Accountant to join their team in **KZN** in the position of Group Finance Manager. The successful incumbent who will be responsible for streamlining new finance processes will be reporting into the Finance Director and overseeing the Finance team.
The responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining a documented system of finance policies and procedures.
- Analysis of hedging, forex, and investments both local and offshore.
- Overseeing Exco reporting.
- Monthly reviewing of cost reports for new developments and tenant installations against budgets.
- Maintaining the land exposure schedules.
- Managing the budgeting process including 2nd review.
- Reviewing of all income statements and balance sheets for the group.
- Engaging in ongoing cost reduction analysis in all areas of the group.
- Drafting Annual Financial Statements,
- Reviewing and authorize any changes required by the auditors.
