Responsibility and authority
- Support permitting process activities, including social environmental assessment and socioeconomic programs.
- Coordinates the development and implementation of mandatory social programs such: Environmental Education Project (PEA), Workers Environmental Education Project (PEAT), Social Communication Project (PCS), Compensation Plan for Fishing Activities (PCAP).
- Be responsible to develop and implement company´s Social Investment Strategy and Projects..
- Support the development of social performance KPIs including for Human Rights.
- Provide Socioeconomic inputs into industry and regulatory forums to seek favourable changes in policy/legislation where relevant matters is required
- Liaise with Oil and Gas Industry to develop and implement Regional Programs
- Coordinate and manage/facilitate stakeholders’ engagement, meetings/workshop events, including public hearings.
- Coordinates the implementation of Stakeholders Mapping and Grievance Mechanism in Brazil.

**Requirements**:
Education
- Graduation in geography, social communication, environmental sciences (e.g. Biology, Oceanography, environmental engineering, etc) or corelated areas

Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar services in Brazil
- Experience in Oil and Gas Industry (desirable)
- Experience with Human rights (desirable)
- Experience working with regulatory agencies and IBP

Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary / multinational environment
- Ability to deliver high quality work on time
- Assertive and confident
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Knowledge
- Artisanal fishing communities in Brazil
- Fluent oral and written English
- Available for travels
