The reputation challenges here are as rich as they are complex, and the new Corporate Relations team will need to provide fully integrated support for business growth, leveraging a multidisciplinary approach including a plethora of channels and platforms to engage with a myriad of stakeholders that are relevant for Shell in Brazil - from fishing community leaders to high level regulators and political players, Corporate Relations Brazil will be a team focused on upholding Shell’s reputation and social license to operate in Brazil - and building pathways for growth through and for our Brand. Reporting to the Corporate Communications manager, this role supports the SP Lead in the implementation of voluntary Social Investment programs and partnerships in country to protect Shell’s license to operate and position the company as a partner of choice for Brazilian society.

**Social Investment Advisor**

**What’s the role?**

The Social Investment Advisor supports the SP (Social Performance) Lead in delivering voluntary social investment partnerships and programs and is an active player in developing communications strategies to promote those programs both internally and externally.

As a Social Investment Advisor, you will be responsible for the following duties:

- Ensures the delivery of all voluntary social investment projects for Shell Brasil (e.g. LiveWire, Shell Scientific Education Awards, NXplorers, etc).
- Manages several delivery partners for SI programs in country.
- Ensures all programs and SI initiatives such as donations or in-kind collaborations under the Shell brand are well protected by due diligence and compliance procedures, as mandated by RDS.
- Works closely with Comms Planning team to promote our SI projects and help position Shell as a caring, responsible company in Brazil.
- Manages existing portfolio of voluntary social investment programs
- Develops and implement new projects that help promote Shell as a company committed to powering lives in Brazil
- Deployment and management of voluntary humanitarian relief projects in case of disaster relief (e.g. Covid-19, but also applicable to high level events in case of a Shell-related crisis or emergency response scenario)
