**Position Overview**:
The role of Payment Operations Lead is to ensure that we provide our customers with a broad portfolio of solutions across all our markets, focusing on operational optimization of our solutions and management of existing providers. You will work in close conjunction with the Risk Team whose remit is to ensure we create a safe and compliant environment for our customers through various measures such as combatting money laundering, preventing credit card fraud, affiliate and bonus abuse and aligning with regulatory requirements

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work hand-in-hand with your team members in acting as a main point of contact for any customer queries that need the payments operation's team attention
- Ensure everything that we do is clearly communicated with your peers including other departments such as customer service, risk operations and finance.
- Lead and be part of projects aiming to improve customer journey and internal efficiency, forming part of the company's strategy.
- Make relative suggestions on how the current tools and processes can be improved based on your experience.
- Absorb as much feedback as you can and liaise with the payment product team to convert operational problems into deliverable technical solutions.
- Ensure you are constantly updated on the Payments roadmap, and keep the OPS team updated at all times.
- Create & maintain internal confluence (wiki) pages, to document payment procedures, and provide effective material for other departments.
- Review the policies and procedures of the payments department and make recommendations for improved efficiency
- Conduct regular UAT on both sites to ensure an optimal customer experience. In a structured manner, identify, record and escalate bugs whenever necessary. Ensure clear deliverables are prioritized and delivered in a timely manner.
- Run market/competitor analysis exercises to identify the gaps in offering or UX; analyse the KPIs to identify opportunities for optimization.

**Requirements**:

- 3 year minimum experience in a similar role, working for an online business in a payments capacity
- In-depth understanding of the payments eco-system and leading payment providers
- Strong analytical skills, a problem-solving mind-set and great attention to detail
- Natural ability to identify issues or risks and convert them into preventive and pro-active measures
- Approachable, Reliable and Team oriented
- Commercial awareness and great team player
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends if required
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
