**We are searching for the best talent for Trade Operations Digitalization & Automation Lead - LATAM to be in Sao Paulo, Sao Jose dos Campos, Mexico City or Bogota.**

**Purpose**:Play a key role in enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and optimizing processes within international trade operations. Your responsibilities will spin around leveraging digital technologies and automation solutions to streamline aspects of trade operations Latam, including documentation, compliance, logistics, and supply chain management.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Digitalization Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategies for integrating digital technologies and automation solutions into international trade processes.
- Process Optimization: Analyze existing trade operations processes (transportation management, import/export documentation, customs clearance, trade compliance) and identify areas for improvement through digitalization and automation. Streamline workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce operational cost.
- Automation Implementation: Identify, evaluate, and implement automation tools and technologies such as robotic process automation (RPA), artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), machine learning (ML), and blockchain to automate routine tasks, reduce manual intervention, and minimize errors.
- Customs Compliance: Collaborate with customs regulatory experts to ensure that digitalization and automation initiatives comply with international trade regulations and standards. Implement solutions to streamline compliance procedures and minimize risks associated with cross-border transactions.
- Data Management and Analytics: Develop data management strategies and utilize analytics tools to extract insights from trade data. Use data-driven approaches to optimize trade processes, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Logistics providers Management: Identify and engage with vendors and technology partners to procure digitalization and automation solutions. Manage vendor relationships and ensure the successful implementation and integration of technologies into existing trade systems.
- Lead the implementation of digital trade solutions, including software integration, customization, and user training.
- Collaborate with global/regional and cross-functional teams to leverage digitalization and automation tools.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging trends, best practices, and technological advancements in digitalization and automation within the international trade space. Continuously evaluate and refine digitalization strategies to drive ongoing improvements.

- 5 years of experience in trade operations / international trade or other logistics related fields
- 3 years of related experience in digitalization and automation.
- Bachelor degree in any Systems, IT, Logistics or related fields (Business administration)
- SAP Knowledge
- Strong understanding in Latam Countries of international trade regulations, customs procedures, transportation and trade compliance requirements.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing digital solutions and automation technologies within trade operations
- Proficiency in utilizing digital technologies such as RPA, AI, ML, blockchain, and data analytics for trade operations optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications in international trade, customs compliance, or digitalization technologies are a plus.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
